Student Mobility for Traineeships

Student Mobility for Traineeships

This programme allows students to participate in a placement period, also known as a traineeship, in a public or private organization operating in the labour market in Programme Countries (Member States of the European Union, Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). The traineeship must have a minimum duration of 2 months and a maximum duration of 12 months.

The objectives of the programme are

  • to help students adapt to the requirements of the EU-wide labour market,
  • to develop specific skills, including language skills, and to improve their understanding of the economic and social culture of the country in which they are working.
  • to acquire work experience and contribute to the development of a pool of well-qualified, open-minded, and internationally experienced young professionals.

The traineeship does not necessarily have to be a mandatory component of your educational program, but the economic sector in which you work should be closely related. Traineeships should be an integrated part of your study area.

It is not possible to do more than a 12-month mobility period through Erasmus+ for each cycle of studies – Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD – and it is possible to do a traineeship no later than one year after finishing your degree. This means that if you finish your degree in June, your traineeship has to end in June of the following year. Overall, the traineeship must be relevant to your study area or the studies you want to do next.

This list includes organisations and enterprises that have previously accepted TEDU students for traineeships. However, please note that this list should be considered as a starting point only. We strongly encourage our students to conduct further research based on their interests and career goals. For a wider range of internship opportunities, we recommend exploring https://erasmusintern.org/

If you are interested in pursuing an internship with any of the organizations listed, we advise you to ensure that your application stands out by having an updated resume and a well-crafted motivation letter. These documents play a crucial role in presenting a comprehensive overview of your skills, experiences, and enthusiasm for the respective position. To get guidance on how to prepare a resume and motivation letter, students can contact the Career Center by emailing kariyer@tedu.edu.tr

All students are required to submit their applications through the TURNAPortal, which is configured through e-Government. To access the portal, students must use their e-Government login credentials. They can then submit their applications to the available call for applications opened by TEDU.
