Latin American Global Semester Certificate Program

Dear Students,

Our bilateral agreement with one of the distinguished universities of the South America region, University of Panamericana (Mexico) has provided an opportunity to participate virtually in the Latin American Global Semester certificate program without any charge at two Universities in Peru and Uruguay. This program, where you, our valuable students, can have different experiences and benefit from international education opportunities even during the pandemic process, is organized in cooperation with the University of Montevideo, University of Piura, and University of Panamericana. You can find the offered courses within the program and the application conditions in the information text below and the frequently asked questions.

Program Requirements

Minimum level required to take the subjects: be enrolled at least in the second year of undergraduate studies at the home university
Courses are taught in Spanish of English. (English-only courses can also be taken)
English language requirement: native or B2 (Language certificate can be taken from English Language School by sending a petition to yim@tedu.edu.tr)
Spanish language requirement: native or B2 / C1 (Optional for Spanish taught courses)
To obtain the participation certificate, students must take a minimum of 12 ECTS credits from at least two different universities.
If a student withdraws from a course after the grace period (two weeks before the start of classes), the course will appear on the student’s transcript as withdrawn
Students registering for the Program will not be charged for course credits or the orientation fee.

Application Deadlines:

University of Montevideo – URUGUAY Application period is open until January 30.

University of Piura – PERÚ Application period is open until February 20.

University of Panamericana - Mexico Application period is closed.
