Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies Application Results

The applications made to benefit from the 2020-2021 Academic Year Erasmus+ Higher Education Program Student Mobility for Studies were evaluated, and the main students, substitute students, and the hosting universities they were placed in were determined after the selection process.

The Mobility for Studies in the 2020-2021 Academic Year will only take place in the Spring Semester due to the COVID 19 pandemic. In this context, students who will be in the 2nd semester of the 4th-grade in the 2020-2021 Academic Year Spring Semester were excluded from the evaluation process.

Following the decision taken by the TED University International Programs Commission, the following application principles were also taken into consideration in the evaluation by considering the limited quotas of Erasmus+ mobility for studies.

  1. The 1st-grade students' eligibility ratio for selection, while there are applications by the 2nd, 3rd and 4th-grade students from the same department will not be able to exceed 50% of the department's total quota, even if the total scores of these 1st-grade students are higher than the other students from 2nd, 3rd and 4th-grade. However, if there are not enough applications from the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade classes to fill the quota, it will not be applied.
  2. Priority is given to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade students with the highest scores in applications made to departments with only one quota, regardless of the 1st-grade candidates with higher total scores.

The students' overall scores in the evaluation process consist of the sum of 50% of their cumulative grade point average and 50% of their English language test scores. In this context, the CGPA scores were converted to its equivalent in the 100-point system based on the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 could not participate in the evaluation.
