Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Applications

Within the scope of Erasmus+ staff mobility, TED University Academics teach at universities which TEDU has a bilateral agreement with; and Administrative/Academic staff attend trainings (job shadowing, observation periods, professional development courses or specific competence-building events) at the universities/institutions in the programme countries whereas it is not compulsory to have an Erasmus+ agreement for TEDU.

Conference participation is not supported within the scope of the activity.

Mobility will be supported by TEDU 2017-2018 Erasmus+ Budget and 2018-2019 AHILER Consortium Budget.

For staff mobility activities, the duration of the activity is set to be at least 2 consecutive days and no more than 5 workdays excluding the days of travelling. The duration of the activity is 7 days in total (5 working days + 2 travel days). If the attendance into the mobility is not fulfilled at least for 2 days, the activity is deemed invalid and the beneficiary is not paid any grants.

Application Date: March 20 – April 8, 2019

Eligibility Criteria:                                

  1. Candidates must be full-time/part-time staff and actually be on duty at the time of application.
  2. An Erasmus+ bilateral agreement, which was signed by both institutions prior to the application date, has to exist for teaching mobility.
  3. Both academic and administrative staff have to be accepted by the counter-institutions before the deadline of application. The acceptances revealed on e-mails will also be valid at the time of application.
  4. The acceptance is not required to be at the rectorate/dean's level, thus, it is sufficient to obtain an invitation from the unit where the activity will take place.
  5. Administrative staff applications will be prioritized within the training mobility. 

Required Documents:

  1. Acceptance letter/e-mail
  2. Application form (can be found under the title of “Erasmus+ Required Documents”)
  3. If applicable, English Proficiency Exam/Course results (YDS, TOEFL, IELTS, course attendance certificate etc.) (only for administrative staff)
  4. If applicable, graduate degree certificates (graduate / doctoral diploma) (only for administrative staff) 

The application documents must be sent to erasmus@tedu.edu.tr or submitted to the International Programs Office until April 8, 2019.
