2017-2018 Academic Year Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Announcement

Within the scope of Erasmus+ staff mobility, it is required for academics, who will benefit from teaching mobility, to teach at universities which we have bilateral agreement with. For the academic/ administrative staff, who will benefit from training mobility, it is a requirement to attend trainings ( job shadowing, observation periods, professional development courses or specific competence-building events) that the staff can develop their skills in relation to their current fields of work at the universities/institutions in the programme countries whereas it is not compulsory to have an Erasmus+ agreement.

Conference participation is not supported within the scope of the activity.

The number of the personnel that can benefit from the activities according to the budget allocated by the National Agency for the Academic Year 2017-2018 and by the consortiums that our university is a member of are as follows:

TEDU 2017-2018 Erasmus+ Budget

  • 3 teaching
  • 3 training

AHILER Consortium

  • 1 teaching (only for the Faculty of Engineering)
  • 1 training

YITAK Consortium

  • 1 training

For staff mobility activities, the duration of the activity is set to be at least 2 consecutive days and no more than 5 workdays excluding the days of travelling. The duration of the activity is 7 days in total (5 working days + 2 travel days). In the case that it is seen that the participatory of the mobility was not engaged in activity for at least 2 days, the activity is deemed invalid and the beneficiary is not paid any grants.

The grant amount of staff activities that will be benefited through the budget of the AHILER consortium will not exceed around €950 including the plane tickets. As for the YITAK consortium the grant amount of staff activities will not exceed around €1650 including the plane tickets. It is therefore recommended that mobility periods and country selection be made within this cognisance.
